10 Great Movies Starring The Stranger Things Cast

8. Memphis Belle

Fear Street Part 2: 1978 Sadie Sink
Warner Bros.

A lesser known film and one that's as historically accurate as Cool Runnings, but still a tense war film and a great story regarding the most famous B-17 bomber that completed 25 missions without a scratch.

Featuring two members of the Stranger Things cast, Sean Astin as turret gunner Sgt. "Rascal" Moore, and Matthew Modine as the Belle's Captain Dennis Dearborn, who would later play Eleven's "Papa", the film features a fairly underrated cast of actors, including John Lithgow, Billy Zane, Eric Stoltz, singer Harry Connick Jr. among others.

As stated, the story behind the film is largely fictional, but in the same vein as Bohemian Rhapsody, it doesn't stop them from telling a good story inspired by a real story of one of the few aircraft that retired from service rather than being shot down. It's Modine's Captain Dearborn to keep his men in line and alive, while the rest of the crew are all too eager to get home after completing one of their most dangerous missions.
