10 Great Movies Starring The Stranger Things Cast

The most recent film on the list, Free Guy follows a guy called Guy who becomes aware that he's a background character in a video game. When he discovers the game is due to be deleted to make way for a sequel, it's up to our unremarkable hero to rescue his friends and his game.

Thinking a hacker has taken control of one of the NPCs, one of the developers "Keys" McKey, played by Stranger Things' Joe Keery, discovers Guy is programmed with an AI he developed with his partner, and gained self-awareness. Keys then fights with studio executives to keep the game and its inhabitants alive and stop the release of Free Guys 2.

Obviously this is Ryan Reynolds film and he does an excellent job as always. But it's also great to see the contrast of roles that Keery is capable of pulling off, from cocky jock-type struggling in the real world as he played in the Netflix series, to a passionate game developer fighting to keep his dream game alive. The twist at the end regarding Guy's purpose is also very sweet.
