8. Queens of the Stone Age - 3's and 7's
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgVfjXA_QY0 As I was watching this music video there was one thought going through my mind: Why hasnt this been made into a film already?!. The video follows the story of four hell kittens on the loose as they wreak havoc in Midwest America. Its shot in classic Grindhouse style and contains all the elements you would expect of the genre; hot girls, gratuitous violence and full frontal nudity (if youre watching the explicit version). Not to forget an unmistakeable antagonist in this case a claw-handed redneck called The Colonel. There are obvious allusions to Tarantinos Deathproof, and to the exploitation films of the 60s and 70s which characterised the Grindhouse movement. Described in the video as an orgy of sex and violence, there is definitely room for a film adaptation of this ballsy music video.
