7. The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977)

You know when you go to a restaurant and they offer those appetizer samplers? The ones that have chips, mozzarella sticks, wings, etc.? Well, that's what The Kentucky Fried movie is like, only less edible. The brain child of the Zucker brothers (you know, those guys responsible for Airplane!), The Kentucky Fried Movie is made up of a collection of sketches following no linear story line. The Kentucky Fried movie plays out more like a feature length version of Robot Chicken, or Tim & Eric Awesome Show. The sketches spoof a wide variety of things including but not limited to, the evening news, blaxploitation films, and Bruce Lees epic Enter the Dragon. An audience would be hard pressed to watch this movie without finding at least something that would trigger uncontrollable laughter. Whether from the sheer absurdity of a random gorilla attack, the slightly offensive pseudo short film Fistful of Yen, or the reoccurring 11 O'clock news gag, The Kentucky Fried Movie never fails to deliver a good laugh. But if you really want the full comedy effect of this one, look no further than Rex Kramer Danger Seeker, and Im not going to say anything more about that.
