6. Darth Maul's Final Words To Kenobi - Rebels

For the longest time, a young Obi-Wan Kenobi's last-ditch dispatching of Darth Sidious' then-apprentice, and the accompanying puzzled and defeated look that came with it from Maul, would've definitely earned its place on a list of this ilk.

But as the animated Clones War and Rebels shows would later shine a light on, Maul wasn't actually entirely cut down during that fateful Duel of the Fates on Naboo and he would eventually come back to haunt arch-nemesis "KENOBI!" on more than a few occasions down the road.

Yet, the tortured and rage-filled soul still always appeared destined to bite the dust before the events of the Original Trilogy unfolded, and it felt somewhat poetic to have his long-time rival deal the fatal blow during an episode of the aforementioned Rebels series. Instead of a wide-eyed acknowledgement of his unfortunate conclusion this time around, though, Maul was afforded a few moments to pick the mind of his old enemy as he lay dwindling in Kenobi's arms.

Maul enquires whether the person Kenobi is protecting on Tatooine is "The Chosen One" before stating that Luke will avenge them both and then giving up his fight upon realising some hope still remains in the galaxy.
