8. Tina - Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter

Tina is your average teenager; young, sweet, sexually active, and sympathetic. So sympathetic, in fact, that her simple act of taking fellow teen Jimmys virginity was what led to her ultimate demise. Another case of paradigm fulfillment, Tina dies because she has sex. Her second mistake is allowing Jimmy to leave her on her own post-coital. Wearing only an oversized shirt, undies, and a pair of white socks, Tina turns to the bedroom window to gaze silently out into the woods for some self-reflection. Instead, she comes face to face with a waiting Jason, who promptly grabs her through the window and launches poor Tina from the second story bedroom. She lands on the roof of the parked car outside, killing her instantly. The reason I chose this death was because, as morbid as this might be, I believe this is the most beautiful death in the entire series. As Tina is launched, the film is slowed down and her body creates a very delicate position, almost like a ballerina. Her face is not twisted with horror, she is not screaming, all you can hear is the tinkling of broken glass and the deafening smash of her body hitting the car. This kill also shows that Jason is not the blood hungry killer we know and love - he is totally okay with killing a person cleanly with little to no blood involved.
