7. Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) - Saigon Chase
The first Bond film I ever truly fell in love with, Tomorrow Never Dies has a plot that stretches logic and reason and while certain elements like Teri Hatcher's attempt at a sultry ex of James' and the phoned-in, over-the-top Donald Trump parody that was main baddie Elliot Carver are pretty bad, the film immediately stole me with the intense, brilliant action scenes and the introduction of Michelle Yeoh as Wai Lin, my first ever favourite Bond Girl. Bond and Wai Lin are pursued through the city streets of Saigon on a motorbike, both of them showing their skills as they're handcuffed together in a playful bickering that gave a Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn edge to their relationship. The slides under blockages, the thrilling airborne bike jump over buildings and the destruction of a helicopter by two kickass equals makes this a standout sequence and my personal favourite.
