10 Greatest Ever James Bond Stunts

6. A View to a Kill (1985) - Eiffel Tower Jump

Easily one of the worst Bond films and the worst of Roger Moore's tenure as 007 (such a sad low note to go out on), the film is made somewhat better in the first half by this spectacular scene as Grace Jones' brilliant baddie Mayday assassinates a contact of Bond's before fleeing (randomly) to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Mayday then leaps from the Tower, surviving due to a parachute and some damn fine athleticism - the stunt is pure OTT gold, something which the series at that point was living on in order for the Bond franchise to continue being considered legible. The rest of the film is a dud that sinks bigger than the zeppelin at the movie's conclusion but this stunt helps alleviate some of the boredom and gives Moore something to be proud of in his swan song.
