1. Troll Hunter (2010)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLEo7H9tqSM TrollHunter is by far one of the most enjoyable films in recent years. This movie proves without a doubt that independent productions are the future of cinema. Not only the writer managed to create an interesting world in which the movie was going to be set in, giving a sense and reason to all the things that happened making the plot much impressive. In TrollHunter we saw a group of college students recording the works of an old and tired Troll Hunter who decides to share them the secrets and the nature of a work that has been kept as classified for many generations. But he also created very interesting characters that made the movie stronger and much more compelling, it wasn't just a cheap excuse to have cool effects and a cool world (Like that piece of crap that was Monsters) but we also managed to see characters that weren't just average stereotypes, we see those characters grow along the movie, they had really with good motivations, interesting backgrounds and the way they react to the things that are going on really makes sense for them. This is definitely one of the best films of all time, I would really like to see the director doing something new after this amazing movie, because I'm sure that in time he'll become one of the best directors of this generation.
