10 Greatest Guilty Pleasure Movies Of The 90s

1. The Mummy

The Mummy Brendan Fraser
Universal

Forget about the 2017 version of this movie with the tiny Scientologist man. Strike it from your memory entirely. Because the 1999 The Mummy with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz is probably the closest thing to a perfect popcorn flick, a real throwback to the 1930s monster films from Universal.

Yes, this family-friendly action adventure has arguably more than its fair share of cheesy moments, but its corny in all the right ways.

Because no matter what is going on in your life, when The Mummy is shown on TBS every week or so, you have no choice but to sit down and watch the entire thing, even if its already halfway over.

That's the power of the Brendan Fraser charm offensive firing on all cylinders. (By the way, the fact that there are two Fraser movies on this list? No coincidence. We can expect the Brendan Fraser Renaissance, heretofore referred to as the Brendaissance, any day now.)
