8. Scaramangas Island - The Man With The Golden Gun
Francisco Scaramanga had a pretty good thing going for him not only was he the best shot in the world, paid $1 million for every hit, but his lair was what can only be described as a tropical paradise. It is without a doubt the most beautiful headquarters in any of the James Bond films and is one of the most iconic locations in the entire movie. Surrounded by breath taking limestone cliffs, crystal clear ocean and coral reefs, there are more lush colours and golden beaches than you could ever want. The island is a natural wonder that anyone would be happy to live on, due to its spectacular views. Super villains need more than exotic surroundings regardless of how wonderful they are, because they wont be spending most of their time trying to catch a tan. The island, in such a remote location, provides plenty of privacy for Scaramanga to lay low or plan his next assassination. Meanwhile the natural rock formations give the perfect cover for his facility. The facility itself contains an immensely powerful solar beam than can destroy objects over great distances, and by gaining all of its power from the sun it has no need for giant reactors or generators. The additional fun house in the basement also provided an excellent location to confuse and disorientate enemies, leaving eventual duels easier to manage.
