10 Greatest MCU Final Scenes
5. Peter Parker's New Life - Spider-Man: No Way Home
The most recent entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tom Holland’s sixth appearance as Spider-Man brings Peter Parker’s teenage years to a close.
A movie that brings back iconic villains and the long-awaited (and heavily rumoured) return of Spider-Men across the multiverse, it’s easy to see why Spider-Man: No Way Home broke records at the box office and became a firm favourite with Marvel fanatics.
After Doctor Strange casts a spell that will make everyone forget who Peter Parker is, the final scenes of the movie see Peter visit best friend Ned and girlfriend MJ at the local coffee shop, but they’ve lost all knowledge and memories of their relationships. Still, there’s a slight sense of hope and future in the movie’s closing frames as Peter Parker moves into his new apartment and makes some finishing touches to a new Spider-Man costume, before swinging into the night sky.
While most Marvel Cinematic Universe movies choose to end on either a cliff-hanger or emotional conclusion, Spider-Man: No Way Home manages to achieve both, offering viewers a sense of closure to Tom Holland’s trilogy while hinting at further adventures for the Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man.
