10 Greatest MCU Heroes With No Powers
5. Sam Wilson
You have to respect Sam Wilson. After barely knowing Steve Rogers for what, a day, he was happy to help shield Captain America and Black Widow from HYDRA, and bust out the old Falcon uniform to do a bit of interrogating.
He told Cap that Avenging wasn’t his world, but he was just too valuable an asset to leave off the team. He eventually joined, and along with Rhodey flew over the Wakandan battlefield in Infinity War. However, as much as he has been a great superhero in the past, his future is arguably brighter than anyone else’s in the entire franchise.
Sam Wilson is no longer Falcon. After years of wondering who would ultimately take up the shield next, Sam can now be addressed as Captain America. What a moment this was, and the truth is that he has earned the right to carry the shield and the mantle.
John Walker proved that it takes more than the physical attributes to be Captain America. He couldn’t hold a candle to Steve Rogers, but Sam has already begun his own legacy with the compassion, the attitude, and the heart required to be called Cap.
