He may not have any super powers himself, he may have been laughed at and made fun of by his own teammates in Avengers: Endgame, and he may have been portrayed as a joke for too much of this time in the MCU, but there can be no denying the power and importance of Scott Lang in the MCU.

To begin with, comedy relief may have seemed like the biggest thing he brought to the table, but since then he has proven himself an incredible superhero. After saving the world from being subjected to an army of Ten Rings Yellowjackets, Scott was vital to Captain America’s victory in Germany, and was ultimately able to defeat and help out Ghost.

As much as shrinking down has been his bread and butter, Lang's suit’s ability to make him giant arguably makes him one of the physically strongest Avengers there is. He was able to take a Chitauri Leviathan out of the sky with just one punch, after all.

However, it is his knowledge of the Quantum Realm that is Lang’s greatest asset, even in the face of such heroic victories. Without him, the Avengers never could have gone back in time, Thanos’ work would never have been undone, and countless billions of lives would have been lost forever.
