5. The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHKE_L76JG4 After assassinating outlaw Jesse James in that famous scene, Robert Ford finally gets him comeuppance when he is sought out and murdered by a man named Edward O'Kelley, while working as a saloon keeper in Creede, Colorado. O'Kelley is later pardoned for the killing. The narration is perfect, and really captures the mood, whilst it is revealed that Robert had been killed before it actually happens, yet still has a profound effect. In the end, we feel sorry for Robert, who regrets killing Jesse, and goes forgotten after his death - that's the second tragedy in this film.
