10 Greatest Sci-Fi Movie Villains Of The 2020s (So Far)

8. The Blissfield Butcher - Freaky

The Invisible Man
Universal

In 2003, Mark Waters directed Freaky Friday - a teen comedy about the wacky adventures of a mother and daughter who mysteriously swap bodies.

In 2020, Christopher Landon directed Freaky - a film that was none of those things.

Okay, that was a lie, there is a body swap element to this film. Although this time it's between a teenage girl and sadistic serial killer.

The girl, Millie (played Kathryn Newton), is your typical meek high schooler. So, you can imagine the carnage caused when the Blissfield Butcher takes control of her body and continues his murderous ways.

The Butcher is portrayed by Vince Vaughn by the way; a career move nobody saw coming.

The movie pulls off its premise perfectly, creating a unique antagonist in the process. The Butcher in either form manages to be scary and hilarious all at once, and offers an interesting twist on the traditional slasher movie killer.

Kudos to both Vaughn and Newton for helping bring the character to life. This wasn't an easy task to pull off, but they really made it work.

Now all that's left for them to do is team up and fight Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis to the death.
