10 Greatest Superhero Movie Endings Of All Time
5. Spider-Man 2

Sam Raimi's Spider-Man will forever be known as the first movie to earn $100 million in its opening weekend. Having said that, it was far from perfect. It had some terrible dialogue, hammy performances, and the CGI was considered ropey, even back then.
But for the sequel, Raimi pulled out all the stops. It's not just the ending that's great; the last 25 minutes is almost perfect. The train battle between Spidey and Doctor Octopus is so action-packed, it holds its own against the best action sequences in the MCU.
Although action films usually have one big moment in the climax, Spider-Man 2 has too many to count. Webhead saving the train from plummeting off the rail, having his identity revealed to Harry Osborn and Mary Jane, the surprise cameo of Norman Osborn, Harry's descent into supervillainy, and MJ's decision to leave her man at the alter to finally be with Peter.
However, one of the most touching moments in the finale that gets glossed over is how Spider-Man defeats Doc Ock, not with his fists, but with reason. Even though he's strong enough to lift a school bus, this moment proves Spider-Man's greatest strength is his compassion.
