8. Elle Driver (Daryl Hannah)
Now back to Kill Bill but this time I'm focusing on Vol. 2. Daryl Hannah really gets a chance to shine in the second volume even though she was featured in the first. It's her work in the second installment that really gives her character an edge. The first volume gave her a brilliant introduction that showed her hatred for the Bride, think of the look of disappointment on her face when the order to kill the Bride is called off after so much tension and build up. In Vol. 2 that tension is given even more dramatic weight when she has her big showdown with the Bride and her character is given more importance when it's discovered that she was Pei Mei's killer. Overall it's Daryl Hannah's venomous performance that carries Elle Driver from being another target on the Bride's list and instead the perfect alter ego for the Bride herself.
