9. Freddy's Dead... Or Is He? (Freddy Vs Jason)
In the horror movie crossover Freddy Vs Jason, the two horror goliaths come in to contact when Freddy Krueger calls upon Jason Voorhees to invoke memories of him in the people of Elm Street. But when Jason goes on a rampage that Freddy can't control, the two come in to conflict. The movie itself is complete and utter nonsense, but the final battle between Freddy, Jason and the inevitable teenage victims is at least memorable. Amidst a huge propane-induced fire, Jason rips Freddy's arm off before Freddy gets his hands on Jason's machete and starts to slash Jason frantically. Jason falls in to the nearby lake, seemingly dead, as Freddy turns his attention to the teenagers. Just when it seems Freddy is going to have the final say, Jason emerges from the water and shoves Freddy's own gloved hand through his chest. This causes Freddy to drop the machete as Jason sinks back in to the lake. One of the teenagers - Lori - uses Jason's machete to cut Freddy's head off and he too falls in to the lake. The teenagers, seemingly the victors, leave. But, as day breaks, Jason emerges from the lake carrying Freddy's severed head, which promptly gives a little wink to the camera.
