10 Gross Out Comedy Scenes That Made You Lose Your Lunch

5. Bridesmaids (2011) €“ Food Poisoning

bridesmaids This scene makes me never want to get married. It€™s completely disgusting and unnecessary and could be easily glossed over in a light-hearted way. But no, we get to see everything. Kristen Wiig plays Annie, the maid of honour to best-friend Lillian (Maya Rudolph). She takes the bride and the other bridesmaids out for lunch to a Brazillian Steak House before their bridal fitting. However, once they are trying on the lovely dresses, the women begin to feel unwell. It starts off with a couple of stomach grumbles. Until one bridesmaid, Megan (Melissa McCarthy), starts to heave. It is then that the women start to realise that they have food poisoning. Cue an onslaught of fart noises and retching, as the ladies run towards the bathroom. The scene could have quite easily ended here and we would all understand what would occur next. However, it continues. One of the bridesmaids, Becca (Ellie Kemper) is first into the bathroom, vomiting over the pristine toilet. Megan€™s next in, screaming that she needs to use the toilet for other reasons, but as Becca won€™t move, she makes do with the sink. Then, a third bridesmaid, Rita (Wendi McLendon-Covey) rushes in and vomits all over Becca€™s hair. Of course, the girls do all of this in the most lady-like fashion, shouting at each other to get away and look elsewhere. One prize quote is from Megan, who is straining over the sink: €˜It€™s coming out of me like lava€™. Suddenly, like the majority of the audience at this point, the bride herself starts to feel ill. This leads to the most horrific part of the scene. In her beautiful white dress, Lillian rushes out of the shop to go the bathroom across the street. However, she doesn€™t quite make it, with a few anxious mutterings of €˜it€™s happening€™; she crouches down in the middle of the road and, as cars drive straight past her, she poops. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6gChlcBDmQ
