Anyone who dislikes Meryl Streep is a dirty liar. She is a lovely, warm, hard-working human being who, as we've discovered in the past, really knows what she's talking about. 2013 wasn't a big year for Streep, with only August: Osage County being released, but 2012 and previous years had her featuring in a vast number of releases like Mamma Mia, The Devil Wears Prada and Julie & Julia, which brings her 2002-2012 box office gross over $1billion. That's why she's so high on the list - she doesn't seem to have a major slew of releases in 2014, but Streep is very active in the development and production side of films, working closely with her good friend Harvey Weinstein and making the projects she wants to make. She's also a big supporter of charities and local theatres, and to be honest, it's just hard to dislike her. She apparently spends months and months preparing for roles even in her more mainstream releases, making sure she delves deeply into every character and accent. 2014 will be a big year for Streep, with three major movies in production, including the much-anticipated Into the Woods where she'll play The Witch. I can't wait.

I also do stand-up comedy sometimes... I'm told I'm marginally funny.
