Now I know this is a controversial choice, but I don't think even his detractors can argue that Efron isn't a hard-worker, and with 2012 grosses totalling $460million, it's hard to ignore the box office force behind him. I've always said Zac Efron is a much better actor than people give him credit for and now, thanks to roles in films like Parkland and Liberal Arts, people are finally seeing the more dramatic side to Zac Efron. Sure, his big grossing films were romantic dramas and childrens' films like The Lorax, but he is definitely trending more towards dramatic roles as of late, as well as branching into the raunchy comedy genre with Neighbours and That Awkward Moment. Again, Efron has worked continuously since 2003 and is showing no signs of stopping. I don't think it'll be long until we see Efron in big franchise films like the Marvel Universe or maybe even Fast & Furious. It's hard to deny there's a star quality to him and he has a definite strong work ethic.
