10 Harry Potter Backstories That Would Be Way Better Than Another Fantastic Beasts Movie
6. Regulus Black’s Journey From Death Eater To Hero
‘Kreacher's Tale’ – the tenth chapter of The Deathly Hallows – took everyone by surprise. Despite having once been a Death Eater, Regulus betrayed the Dark Lord and stole Slytherin’s Locket, sacrificing himself in the process.
Yet there are still many questions left unanswered. How did he know where the Locket was hidden? What made him turn against his master? And how did he learn about Voldemort’s Horcruxes in the first place?
A character-driven narrative based on the internal struggle of Regulus Black that answered such questions would be much more interesting than another one of Newt Scamander’s mediocre adventures.
Sure, everyone would know the ending, but Regulus Black is one of the most underrated characters in Harry Potter, and he deserves far more recognition for his heroic stance against the Dark Lord.
