10 Heroes We Need To See In The DC Cinematic Universe

9. Plastic Man

Others Names/Alias: Patrick O'Brien First Appearance: Police Comics #1 (1941) Powers and Abilities: The ability to mould his body into any size or shape, high resiliency, possibly indestructible. Possibly the most aptly named superhero ever, Plastic Man has the ability to mould and shape his body as if it were made out of a rubbery form of plastic. Since his conception Plastic Man has been known for his ridiculous exploits that are often quite humorous. He's used primarily as a comic relief character, though he has been involved with the Justice League and the JLA on multiple occasions. It's obvious to see why Plastic Man could immediately be a lot of fun on the big screen, but the reason why he isn't higher on this list is simply because he wouldn't suit the tone of the DCU. The DC cinematic universe is almost certainly going to be a serious collection of films, of which there isn't room for a comic relief character. That being said, it could still certainly be done and would add some diversity to the broody, formulaic films that we're almost certainly going to be overexposed to.
