They attempt to solve the urban legend of the Bathroom Blonde, a spirit haunting a school bathroom. That's essentially it for the plot, as it's a deliberately minimal/shallow excuse for some humour, action and a truckload of gore.

Part of the fun in this flick is how entirely over-the-top everything is, mainly thanks to the leading cast. Everyone delivers a bonkers performance, with the "Ghoulbusters" showing some solid chemistry and all understanding what kind of movie they are in. There's no need for nuance here, as everything is right there at the surface.

Still, while the main focus is comedy, the movie is not afraid to put you through the wringer. There's plenty of depravity and scares, with dead kids, weapons and even a possessed foetus.
