9. Iron Man 2 - The Map
Iron Man 2 is not necessarily an MCU film that you have to return to time and time again. With Tony Stark front and centre as the movie introduces Black Widow into the MCU, this is one of the messier outings of Phase One - as everyone tries to cram three different movies' worth of material into a single two-hour film.
However, a quick glance in the background showed that something bigger might be on the horizon.
When discussing the possibilities of the Avengers Initiative with Nick Fury, we see Tony discussing the potential of being an advisor or a fully fledged member of the superpowered forces. Though the scene does have some decent one-liners from Robert Downey Jr.'s Stark, there's something more interesting going on in one of the electronic maps.
As everyone else is paying attention to the dialogue, the coordinates of the map are pointing towards Africa, revealing what many comic book nerds know as Wakanda.
While at the time this could've been merely a fun Easter egg, it was clear that the seeds were being sown to one day bring Black Panther into the MCU. Even though Iron Man 2 doesn't particularly warrant repeat watches, make sure to keep your eyes peeled if and when you next revisit this 2010 picture.
