10 High Grossing 2015 Films That Actually Made No Profit

8. Run All Night

Production Budget: $50,000,000 Worldwide Gross: $71,561,644 Estimated Losses: $28,438,356 Some might look at the relatively low grosses for Run All Night and quickly blame it on the fact that Liam Neeson has made an awful lot of action and thriller movies over the past several years. However, there is no denying that Liam Neeson is still a bankable action movie star - Taken 3, released in January, grossed $326.5 million worldwide and 2014's Non-Stop grossed $222.8 million worldwide on similar-size budgets. But Run All Night was released just two to months after Taken 3 in the United States and most other territories. In France the films were released only seven weeks apart. Even though Run All Night is largely regarded as being a much better movie than Taken 3, releasing the film so quickly after Taken 3 was a terrible plan. Not only were the releases too close, but Taken 3 is part of a popular franchise so that would naturally overshadow Run All Night. Most casual moviegoers probably didn't even realise that two different action movies starring Liam Neeson were released in the first quarter of 2015. That was poor planning on the part of Warner Bros.,
