10 Highly Questionable Actions Committed By Jack Sparrow
2. He Unsuccessfully Stages A Mutiny On Blackbeard's Ship
Jack and Angelica eventually cross paths again when Jack goes hunting for the Fountain of Youth. He's knocked out by Angelica and taken aboard The Queen Anne's Revenge, and immediately begins talking to the other crewmen about their predicament and destination. Jack eventually talks the men into staging a mutiny (not believing that Blackbeard is actually on the ship at all), and nearly succeeds: until Blackbeard reveals himself and puts an end to it. Jack's mutiny was a bit premature, not knowing all of the facts and assuming that Blackbeard wasn't aboard the ship. He put the entire crew at risk, and even got a few of them killed. Like many of his ill-conceived plans, it ends up working in his favor, granting him an audience with Blackbeard and bringing him a step closer to Angelica.
