4. This Restaurant Translates To "We Spit In Your Food" - Anchorman

Anchorman is absolutely jam-packed with both rip-roaring one-liners and speedy sight gags you'll miss merely by blinking, though in the case of this particular joke, it's shielded to many due to the language barrier.

In a brief establishing shot of the Mexican restaurant that Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) visits while plotting revenge against Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), we can see that the establishment is named "Escupimos en su Alimento."

To English-only speakers this doesn't seem remotely out of the ordinary, but it's in fact Spanish for "We spit in your food." It also dovetails quite neatly into the film's recurring gag about Ron being unable to understand Spanish.
