10 Hilarious Movies Nobody Expected To Laugh At

This article could easily be made up of ten Nicolas Cage movies. It’s been challenging to limit it to one, but Drive Angry is Cage goodness at its absolute finest.

Released in 2011, the story centres around John Milton. (A sun-glasses wearing, mullet sporting Cage.) Milton escapes from Hell, by driving really fast, in order to save his daughter from a fanatical cult who have tricked her into joining their wicked ways. All the time Milton is out, he is hunted by The Accountant (William Fichtner) who is tasked with dragging our hero back to Hell.

Only one scene in this ridiculous film needs addressed to give you an idea of what you’re in for. Milton woos a local hussy in a shady motel and they begin to have relations. All of a sudden, the room is surrounded by cultists and a shoot-out ensues. A dual-wielding Milton manages to kill every one of the goons, whilst still inside his woman. As the last man falls and his pistols smoke, Milton takes a heroic swig of Jack Daniel’s and “finishes off” whilst guitar solo plays in the background.

In retrospect, this may be the greatest action movie of all time.
