10 Hollywood Remakes Of Foreign Language Movies That Actually Didn't Suck

7. Let Me In

While many herald the original 2008 Swedish film Let The Right One In as the far superior version of this film (and they wouldn't necessarily be incorrect), 2010's Let Me In is an incredibly impressive and haunting film.

An early breakout for stars Chloë Grace Moretz and Kodi Smit-McPhee, Matt Reeves' adaptation of the young vampire horror is considered to be one of the greatest American vampire movies of all time, as well as one of the most successful horrors in recent memory.

Reeves has stated he adapted the source material of its 2004 novel by John Ajvide Lindqvist rather than remade the original movie, but considering Ajvide Lindqvist also wrote the screenplay for the 2008 Swedish film and the two films' stark similarity, this claim is fairly unsubstantiated.

Chances are I’m watching a movie or replaying Mass Effect rather than doing anything productive.
