10 Hollywood Stars Who Got REALLY Angry When They Didn't Win An Oscar

The Oscars in 1974 were a sophisticated affair. In fact, Glenda Jackson won Best Actress for a film literally entitled "A Touch of Class."

Doesn't get much more spot on than that.

Two ladies who left all their airs and graces at home that night were Jackson's fellow nominees Ellen Burstyn and Joanne Woodward.

Woodward was nominated for a movie called Summer Wishes, Winter Dreams. This was her third time up for the statue, having already snagged Best Actress in 1958.

As for Burstyn, she was being recognised for her role in The Exorcist. Perhaps Pazuzu was present on this night, as her response to not winning was positively demonic.

Burstyn puckered up her face like that meme of the lemon from The Simpsons, expressing an intriguing combination of fed up and exasperated.

Meanwhile, to her left on-screen, Woodward just looks ticked off. Come on, Joanne, you'd already won an Oscar! Let the others have a go!

All this whilst poor old Glenda Jackson is trying to celebrate what should be one of the happiest moments of her life.

Wait, she'd already won one too? Never mind then.
