9. Inside Man 2
I thoroughly enjoyed Inside Man, though it never struck me as a film that warranted a sequel in any way, shape or form. Furthermore, the fact that the film was Spike Lee's highest grossing film made it seem clear to me that it was nothing but a financially motivated move, simply to line the studio's - and his own - pockets. However, the fact that Spike intended to bring back most of the principal cast was encouraging, as well as the tease that it was to be about a diamond heist. A script was written, but it ended up being rejected, and so they went back to the drawing board. The last time anyone bothered to ask Spike about it, he said that the project couldn't get all the moving parts working, and so it is essentially dead (thankfully).
