8. Speed 3
We all love Speed, and we all hate Speed 2; those are pretty much universally held opinions among film fans, and really, the idea of a third Speed film likely just made fans of the first film feel pretty queasy after the horrendous mess that was Cruise Control. Plenty of rumours nevertheless abounded about the production, that Dennis Hopper was going to star - an incredulous claim given that his character literally lost his head at the end of the first film - and also that Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock had both met with Fox executives about the possibility of a reprisal (which wouldn't even make sense, given that Annie and Jack were no longer together in Speed 2). We don't even know what the plot would have been, or what the mode of vehicle might have been, but the fact that they considered bringing Dennis Hopper back is enough for me to insists that it won't be missed.
