The Hulk may be a towering green behemoth of near-unrivalled physical strength and the powerful alter-ego of the biochemist, nuclear physicist and gamma radiation expert Bruce Banner but, sadly, the Hulk lacks the same level of intelligence that his scientist alter-ego possesses by a very large margin - and this can render him vulnerable to being a bit of an idiot. After the Hulk had fought with the military and, specifically, Emil Blonsky at Culver University, he fled with Betty Ross as quickly as he could. Hulk had just saved Ross from certain death when he shielded her from a large, fiery explosion, but this hadn't made him any less of a fugitive than General Ross already thought he was. Hulk took Betty to the Smoky Mountain National Forest, where the pair found shelter from the wild weather in a cave. When Betty awakened, she startled the Hulk, who stepped backwards and, seemingly forgetting his huge stature, hit his head on the cave ceiling. It turned what could have been a poignant and emotive moment in to a farce. "Big green brute bumps head, ha-ha!"
