10 Horribly Incompetent Movie Directors Who Keep Getting Work

2. Tyler Perry

And apparently there's a huge market out there for horribly unfunny, racially patronising and ludicrously stupid comedy movies, and for the occasional drama of that variety, too - his flicks make a killing at the box office each and every time. Attention everyone: you don't have to go and see Tyler Perry movies. There's no law forcing you to do so. I'm saying that because I'm convinced people must think they have to go. Perry scrapes the bottom of the comedy barrel every time one of his characters opens their mouth to talk, but the worst thing about the highest paid actor/writer/director of 2012 (you read that right) is that he genuinely thinks he has something to say. Almost all of his movies are crammed with horrible, pseudo-debates that make no sense. The guy's idea of a good time involves you watching him dress up as a fat woman and, like, laughing as he falls over and stuff. But you deserve better than that. You really do.
