6. Force Fed - Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLdO-qkY1pQ Pier Paolo Pasolini's Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom is the second and final masterpiece on this list, despite being a torturous ordeal and featuring some of the most grotesque scenes ever committed to celluloid. The film has many scenes of torture and humiliation, all graphic and disturbing, but the unique scene, unlike anything ever before filmed, and the one which we all want to bleach from our memories, is when the young prisoners are force fed faeces. It's every bit as disgusting as it sounds, daringly explicit and the first time you see it, it's almost surreal as you watch in complete shock on the verge of vomiting everywhere. That's not usually the type of scene you associate with a masterpiece, but Pasolini's scathing attack on fascism and autocracy is powerful and delivered expertly. It's film that has to be seen to be believed, just stay away if you're squeamish.
