10 Horror Films That Exist Purely To Shock And Disgust

1. Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence (2011)

In 2010 Dutch filmmaker Tom Six unleashed The Human Centipede onto the masses, giving genre fans everywhere the original idea of a madcap surgeon who stitches three people together, ass to mouth. The plot and title alone were enough to cast a notorious reputation upon the movie, but it€™s sicker in concept than presentation. In the first Centipede, not a whole lot is actually shown. However, the film€™s sequel takes the bad taste concept of its predecessor and expands it in an extraordinarily grotesque manner. The film follows Martin Lomax (Laurence R. Harvey), a bespectacled, obese weirdo who works as a security guard and lives with his suicidal mother. He is obsessed with the first Human Centipede film and is determined to have his very own human centipede. He is ambitious in his scope and knocks out twelve people €“ stapling their mouths to each others asses; creating a truly hellish creature. Needless to say, this film is quite nauseating. Though, the absolute pinnacle of disgusting scenes in the film is when Martin injects each of the "components" of the centipede with laxatives and they all explosively defecate into each other€™s mouths. This is needlessly provocative and is only in the film to disgust. The glee on Martin's face as he injects his "pet" full of laxatives is sheer overkill and will unquestionably ensure that Human Centipede 2 will be forever be remembered as one of the most over-the-top gross out films of all time. Are there any other unnecessarily over-the-top horror films that you€™d like to add to the list? Let us know in the comment section below.
