10 Horror Movie Characters Who Knew When To Quit (But Didn't)

Fall centers around two adventurous pals, Becky (Grace Caroline Currey) and Hunter (Virginia Gardner), who decide to climb a 2,000-foot tall broadcasting tower, because that's apparently how they get their kicks.

Becky has very understandable reasons for not wanting to take part, though, having lost her husband in a climbing accident just a year prior.

This, combined with her subsequent crippling alcoholism, certainly doesn't make a physically strenuous climb up a dodgy-looking tower in the middle of nowhere seem like a good idea - and she knows it too.

Despite Becky initially refusing to go along, her arm is twisted by the more extroverted, outgoing Hunter, who believes it might help pull her out of her funk.

And so, Becky foolishly ignores the very obvious red flags she herself has brought up, and the climb becomes a nightmare when the ladder breaks and the pair are left stranded at the top.

Becky's at least fortunate enough to barely survive the ordeal, but Hunter sadly ends up falling to her death.
