6. Captain Rhodes - Day Of The Dead
Because zombie movies love pulling out the "humans are the real monsters" card so much, naturally, there are a ton of zombie movies with human characters that you just can't wait to see get torn to shreds and cannibalized. And one of the kings of such comeuppance belongs to Captain Rhodes from Day Of The Dead.
Captain Rhodes is exactly the kind of guy you DON'T want to have in charge during a crisis of any kind, much less overseeing what is seemingly the last of the human race. Rhodes from the get-go is shown to be both mad with power and mad classic edition, wielding the tiny amount of authority he has with an iron grip.
He's particularly cruel to Bub, the partially intelligent zombie that the scientists under his command had been using as a guinea pig to try and find a cure. So, of course, the film ends with Bub getting his payback on Rhodes by shooting him in the gut and leaving him for the zombies.
Rhodes has by far the most badass death on this list as he watches the zombies tear and eat his flesh and organs and bones, and only has one thing to say: "choke on them".
