10 Horror Movie Deaths That Came Out Of Nowhere

6. Bandersnatch - Colin

Black Mirror's science-fiction sensibility is so heavily rooted in the terrors of technology that it's hard not to consider it out and out horror, which is how Bandersnatch has ended up on this list. Scary enough to shake anyone's belief in free will, Bandersnatch is the choose your own adventure movie that launched on Netflix, allowing a viewer to direct Stefan through his life as he attempts to program and release his own, similar game in the narrative.

There comes a point where the strings propelling these characters are revealed in dramatic fashion, and famous game designed Colin makes Stefan - aka you, the watcher - choose between Stefan jumping off a roof, or Colin. The former results in the film ending, and the latter results in a strange dream sequence before Colin mysteriously disappears from the rest of the story, somewhat proving his theory on alternate realities.

The choice is one that's thrown at you with no warning, and selecting Colin has that "haha, no but really" vibe to it until the guy just outright accepts his command to his own death with a simple "fair enough." It's the smoothest fall from a balcony you'll see on screen, that's for sure.
