5. Stu Rubin - Drag Me To Hell
Sam Raimi's classic horror-comedy Drag Me to Hell sees bank loan officer Christine Brown (Alison Lohman) competing for a promotion with her scheming, sniveling co-worker Stu Rubin (Reggie Lee).
Stu is, to be blunt, a grade-A douchebag: he's constantly trying to make Christine look bad to their boss, makes up stories about her, defaces her work, and ultimately ends up taking her job.
Even despite all this, Christine can't bring herself to pass her Gypsy curse onto him, which would've led to Stu being dragged to hell at film's end - a fitting outcome, most will agree.
Instead, Christine's attempts to rid herself of the curse without harming another living person fail, and at the end she is indeed pulled into the depths of hell.
It was certainly the right decision for the story, but it sure would've been a riot to see Stu gets his just desserts during Raimi's gonzo horror camp-fest.
