There is no other franchise out there in the world that is as obsessed with creepy ass kids gleefully murdering adults as Children of the Corn. The first film was released in 1984 starring Linda Hamilton, and was adapted from Stephen King's short story of the same name.

After the film made $14 million on a budget of less than $1 million, a franchise was born, allowing Isaac and 'He Who Walks Behind the Rows' to terrorise many more groups of adults for years to come.

What followed were 8 sequels and 1 reboot on the Syfy channel, taking us all the way up to 2018, and with another Children of the Corn due out it 2021 directed by Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium) this is a series that has no end in sight.
