10 Horror Movie Protagonists Who Kind Of Deserved To Die

5. Everybody – Unfriended

Drag Me To Hell
Universal Pictures

Innovative cyberbullying revenge horror Unfriended takes the old saying ‘with friends like these who needs enemies’ to a whole different level. Focusing on a group of completely despicable high-schoolers whose friend committed suicide after they spread a very embarrassing video of her online, they eventually get their comeuppance when their mate comes back from the dead to stalk them online.

As the movie progresses we learn just how horrid this bunch of social media-obsessed teens really are – the type of ‘friends’ who spread malicious gossip about each other, cheat on each other and generally stab each other in the back at any opportunity.

So when their vengeful victim exacts her revenge via some rather suspect cyber-supernatural means and offs them one by one, it’s kind of hard to summon up even the tiniest bit of sympathy for any of the teen protagonists.

Unfriended? Unlikeable, more like.
