And finally, if the recent live-action remake of Snow White didn't do it for you, fear not, because a horror-themed reimagining is soon enough on the way.

The Death of Snow White is a recently shot "mockbuster" which takes place following Snow White's (Sanae Loutsis) demise, as her friends gather to investigate the grim truth of her death. Jason Brooks, who previously helmed the fan film Friday the 13th Vengeance 2: Bloodlines, is directing.

Though the Disney version of Snow White won't enter the public domain until 2032, it's clear that this retelling of the original Brothers Grimm's story is leaning heavily on its proximity to the recent live-action Disney remake, invoking as much similar imagery as legally possible - just with more gore.

Nobody's expecting good things from this of course, yet we haven't got long to find out for ourselves, as The Death of Snow White hits U.S. cinemas on April 18th.
