10 Horror Movie Sequels With ONE Great Scene

7. Dealing With A Bully - Pet Sematary Two

Somewhat aptly, Pet Sematary Two is a shambling, soulless husk of a sequel for the most part, and really the only meritorious aspect of the movie is Clancy Brown's deliriously unhinged performance as zombified a**hole sheriff Gus Gilbert.

Even so, Brown is mostly just elevating bunk material, save for the single genuinely well-executed sequence in which Gus makes short work of punk kid Clyde (Jared Rushton), who moments earlier had threatened to mutilate Jeff's (Edward Furlong) face with the wheel spokes of his own bike.

Gus intervenes, sends Jeff home, and then terrifies Clyde by picking up his own motorcycle, hitting the gas, and holding the fast-turning wheel to his face.

"I'm just f**king with ya!," Gus hilariously quips, before Clyde's scarf gets caught in the wheel and slams his face into it.

A surprised Gus then says, "Whoops," and decides to finish the job, holding the wheel down as it rips Clyde's face to shreds. The resulting tension catapults chunks of Clyde's skull at Gus and also sprays him with a fine red mist.

At once nauseatingly violent and riotously funny, this is the exact sort of tone the rest of the movie should've struck, but sadly didn't.
