10 Horror Movie Sequels You Probably Didn't Know Existed
5. Hollow Man II
At the turn of the century the legendary director Paul Verhoeven followed up his acclaimed Starship Troopers film with another foray into the sci-fi genre, this time infused with horror, in the form of Hollow Man. Starring Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Shue, and even Josh Brolin, the film was a moderate success raking in nearly $200 million at the box office.
Evidently, that was enough of a reason to spawn a very unlikely sequel in Hollow Man II. After all, lightning occasionally strikes twice. Released in 2006, Hollow Man II has invisible murderous assassins, stars Christian Slater, and has a 4.4 rating on IMDB.
Evidently lightning avoided this movie at all costs, probably due to its convoluted story of experiments gone wrong, ridiculous character decisions, and some stuff about assassinating political enemies and other clichéd s. It's a real shame, because Christian Slater is better than this.
Not content with this unexpected sequel nobody asked for, director Claudio Fäh also went on to direct sequels to another franchise you didn't know existed known as Sniper.
