10 Horror Movie Villains KILLED Before The End

Utterly unhinged Japanese sci-fi horror film Tokyo Gore Police swiftly introduces its apparent main villain, the Key Man (Itsuji Itao); a mad scientist who has created a virus which turns humans into creatures called "Engineers," which can grow biomechanical weapons from their wounds. Yup.

For the first two-thirds of the movie, there's no reason to doubt that the Key Man is going to be the final hurdle for hero Ruka (Eihi Shiina) to complete her vengeance quest. Except, a whole half-hour before Tokyo Gore Police wraps up, Ruka confronts the Key Man and, without hesitation, slices him in half with her katana, killing him instantly.

But before he died, the Key Man revealed that there's a bigger-picture villain hiding in plain sight - the police commissioner (Shun Sugata), who Ruka spends the rest of the movie tracking down before parting his head from the rest of his body.

This entry does come with an asterisk, though, as a mid-credits scene reveals that the Key Man has been reassembled and brought back to life, because why the hell not? All the same, he ducks out of the movie proper way earlier than anyone expected.
