5. Carter Burke - Aliens
Within moments of meeting Weyland-Yutani's slimeball rep Carter Burke (Paul Reiser), it's clear that the guy is both an historic douchebag and damn-near guaranteed to end up on the wrong side of a Xenomorph (is there a right one?).
Burke is of course carrying out the business interests of Weyland-Yutani without any consideration for the human cost of recovering the alien eggs for weapons research.
But his most heinous crime? Releasing facehuggers within the vicinity of Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and young Newt (Carrie Henn) with the hope of impregnating them both with alien embryos.
His gambit doesn't work, and Burke suffers a fate befitting anyone who egregiously underestimates the danger of man-hunting alien creatures: one of them sneaks up and kills him.
From the moment he tricked the colonists into investigating the derelict spaceship containing the alien eggs, Burke was living on borrowed time. It's just a shame his greed-filled stupidity ended up costing the lives of so many others also.
