The futuristic leader of an S&M cult intent on finding the most intense carnal pleasures out there, Pinhead really isn’t someone that you can take home to the parents. That, and he’s got a head crosshatched by giant nails and could do with some more time out in the sun. Goth isn’t a good look anymore, my guy.
Pinhead’s kills come from being summoned by the Lament Configuration, a puzzle box designed to conjure him and his Cenobite minions to torture whoever is unfortunate enough to figure the thing out. Sent to hell and coming back demonic as ever, Pinhead is terrifying for his calm, cool demeanour whilst inflicting all manner of horrors on his victims’ bodies - inspired by an elegance reminiscent of Dracula rather than creepy silent slashers or spewing out cheesy one liners.
